Nasty Cough

Post by KyRidgeRunner »

I have a 3 month old pup that coughs sometimes. It's not like a kennel cough, she just does it once in a while, usually when she has been laying around. After she stirs around a bit she seems fine. Any ideas?

Also, for my doggie antibiotic several people have reccomeded to me Tylan either 50 or 200. I just don't know what dosage is correct per 10 pounds.

Thanks Doc in advance.

I would have her checked out by a veterinarian. Could be a cardiac cough you are describing, or any number of things for that matter. As for antibiotics, there is no one antibiotic that is best to have on hand. It depends upon the condition being treated. Personally, Tylan has never over impressed me for canine usage. Doc S
