I'm going to put a first aid kit together to carry in the top of my dog box, was wondering what I should have in it, thanks!

put some kind of vet ointment like pullvex, some peroxide and bandages and needle and fishing twine or a skin stapler never hope you have to use that but you just never know i had a dog get ripped up one day and would have lost him if not for the stapler. put some good eye wash drops in there and some cut and heal and should be good.

You should also have Betadine solution to clean cuts, scissors for cutting fur or bandages and pliers to remove porcupine quills if need be.

They will probably have it, they may even sell the already assembled first aid kit for dogs.

yes it is a capsule. the dog i gave it to had labored breathing. his front leg was about four times its normal size and the dog was unresponsive.he was bit about 2 am on sunday morn. i found him about 630am. i broke 2 in his mouth an let them disolve. about 45 min later i got him home and he drank a little water. his temp. was going down. and his breathing was getting better.i gave him 2 more in a piece of hotdog and that evening he was barking for his food. the guys i hunt with have used this many times for snakebite and also beestings on us and the dogs. we dont leave home without em. sam
