film over eye

film over eye

allright guys this is what happened.took hound to trial on the 16th.went out the next morning and his eye is swollen.i give him antibiotics and eye drops.swelling goes down and the next day a white film occurs.i was wondering what you think that this might be.seem to come on to fast to be cataracs.any imput would be helpful thanks.

Quite honestly, I'd go to a vet. If I had to guess... I'd say the eye lens has an abrasion and/or there's debris somewhere in the socket/eye lid.

Bathe the eye in a cool to lukewarm tea. Also the white may be the inner eye lid?? They do have an inner and outer eyelid. Vet is also a very good idea if not sure.

thanks for everyones help.went out this morning and the film was gone.i guess the eye drops and atibiotics did the job.thanks again :D
