My pregnant three year old has a "Growth" on the end of her ear that I think is a wart, but I haven't heard of it on the ear, just around the mouth and nose. It is about marble size and gray in color, started out as pink. I have been to the vet(not for this) too many times to afford another if it is not necessary. Any thoughts??? Thanks Tony

I have seen warts on ears. That being said, without seeing the mass and possibly even biopsying, it is impossible to say for sure what it is. I know that was an ambiguous answer, but hope it helps. Doc S

bluegrass, don't be surprised if you go out there in a few days and it's gone. I tried to pick off what I thought was a big cockleburr from the underside of one of our bitches' ears. It was almost perfectly round and about 3/4" in circum. After a couple of tugs I realized it was a big ol' wart and I was creeped out to say the least.

:yikes:

I scheduled a vet visit for later in the week to have that thing taken off, and before I could keep the appointment, it had totally disappeared. That was 2 years ago and it hasn't returned.

Just to update, this thing has been on my dogs ear for about a month now and shows no signs of leaving...She is due to give birth this week, so I will probably have to take her to the vet in a few weeks. Could a wart stay on her ear this long??? Tony

A month is getting a little "long-ish", but not impossible. Doc S

I got a dog here now that has a bump on his ear.....about the size of a small pea. It is in the center of the ear and you can only feel it on the outside of the ear...inside feels smooth. Looks like an inflamed pimple. Seems to have fluid in it.......Gess I better get a vet visit as well.

Hope all is well with you Doc!

See you all, Randy
