My young and inexperienced male has been trying to breed a female but not having any success. He is taller by a couple of inches, and he is not finding her vagina. He tries and tries but eventually he knots up and has ejaculated on the ground. this is his first mating.
Does anyone have a suggestion that may help in this situation? I am thinking of standing the female on a raised platform that may get her in line with the male, however, not sure she would stay.
Any help appreciated, running out of time.

Try holding her up a little higher.

If the male will let you help, hold your finger under the lower part of her vagina to make it pucker up a little.
This usually helps a lot.

I don't think that him being only taller by a couple inches would make it that difficult. Try what brewer & Mike said, hold her up, make your platform, or, well you know...

If your kennel is on the ground a hole dug out like what a hound will dig to cool down usually works well. He will be more likely to stand in the hole than her on a platform. Just my observations of the same situation.
