I had the same thing happen to one from a battle with whips. I mixed her food with Jack Mackeral and her voice came back quick. I give all mine some Mackeral from time to time. Seems to help their coats and skin. They go crazy when they see the can.

Thanks Anthony,I will give it a try. She still hasn't got her voice back. I have a man who wants her to run deer with , he had one like her that couldnt bark and put a cowbell on her , when you heard that bell you could look for a deer!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks again!!

FrancoMo,
Jack Mackeral is canned salmon. Mom used it when she made salmon patties. Goes good with a piping hot bowl of pintos, corn bread, fried potatos and garden fresh tomato.

It is actually canned Mackerel. It is high in protein, calcium, vitamin A, and Iron. Smells strong but the dogs love it. Like Chris said it is not bad to eat. It seems to help put weight on a dog in a good way and promote healing.
