The albon should have the opposite affect - I would say it is because they ate too much. If so, it should clear up in a day or two after the feeding is cut back to the normal rate.

At 8 wks they need to be on free feed.
Sometimes it is something other than coccidia. Could be a bacteria infection that the albon is not getting. My vet puts them on amforal which has an antibiotic in it.

A dog that overeats can get loose stool and a good way to clear this up is to take them OFF feed for 24 hours and give them some plain canned pumpkin or boiled and peeled sweet potato. This really WORKS! The stool will firm right upl. The fiber it provides allows for absorption in the large intestine, causing the fecal matter to become less "wet".
This is actually a great way to help any dog that has diarrhea.

I might try that Bynnyrunner...do you think it might workon my male that seems to have IBD symptoms from a real bad case of Giardia??
I switched his feed to Purina one Lamb & Rice along with some green beans and soy yogurt....oatmeal and rice ( cooked ) still having some difficulty with the runs...
thanks for all your help...
