can you use or should you use a product on a nursing mama like these. She is already looking a little rough around the edges. As long as I dont block the milk hole?

define "rough around the edges?" I think you are a worry wart ;-) I have never had a bitch have any issues with nursing that required ointment in over 20 years of nursing bitches. Don't put anything on her that the puppies will get on them or in their mouths. Just relax and let them be. The only thing that you really need to do is to keep the puppies toenails trimmed short so they don't scratch her breasts. Now GO watch TV and let them be!!
