If a briar or thorn gets into the paws and gets infected can that make a dog sick to where it won't eat? I finally got the briars out of her paws and a whole lot of puss came with it.
Yes, a infection can cause the dog to go off feed. Give 250mg amoxi twice a day for 7 days and he should be fine. Just make sure he is drinking water.
