Over-the-counter anti-fungal creams generally work, like Lotrimin AF or something. Ringworm can be transferred to humans, so you may want to apply the medication with a baggie or rubber glove on your hand so that you don't touch the infection directly and need something yourself!

Any of the anti funal creams work well...Like Monistat...but ringworm can be transfered to wood..and the spores can then reinfect that dog or another dog..So paint(or spray) the inside of the dog house, and any wooden fencing with the Strong iodine solution. Wear gloves or ya fingers and hands will be orange!

If you use Lysol like you use in the bath room, you can spray it on and not have to touch the area, you can also spray down the dog box with it.

You can't buy 7% or 8% Iodine around here.
Apparently it is part of the recipe for make meth and all feed shop quit selling due to the extra paper work.

Like Mike said Iodine is the best by far.. I had a 6wk old puppy get a ringworm infection all over it's body and I mean BAD. Took it to the vet and he gave me Iodine to apply. One application of rubbing him down really good took care of it.. Now it took about a month before all his hair came back and started looking slick again. But it does work.. You can also get the shampoo that I did use once on him when all the scabs started to come off..

I tried Nu-stock in the last two weeks on a dog with ring worm inside it's ear.
It seems to be working great.
Nu-stock is sulphur, pine oil, and mineral oil.
It smells like pinesol.
