rupture

i have an older bitch, and after raising 2 pups, she has a rupture or knot the size of a small orange on her tit. i had another one had the same and vet done surgery. 3 months later it came back. is this normal in older females ??

i was wrong on thinking this one had a rupture, it looks just like the other one did. took her to the vet and she has an infection in one of her tits. vet gave her antibotics for ten days and if they dont help, he will have to remove her tit. anyone have a problem like this ?

Just had this happen to my female on a teat that doesn't fill up with milk. It happened about 4 months after whelping. Had it drained and antibiotics and it cleared up. If it happens again, it will be removed per the vet.
