Tumeric/Curcumin for Cancer Treatment

Post by Beagled1 »

Since there have been a few posts regarding cancer/lumps here lately, I thought I'd post something I have just recently learned. I have a GSD with a histiocytoma and will be trying this remedy ASAP in conjuction with other homeopathic treatments ...
Seems the curcumin in tumeric is a POWERFUL antioxidant. You can actually purcahse tumeric extract at any health food store. Just make sure the label reads it contains curcumin (curcuminoids).

Good post.

Native Americans, folks down here, have been taking this for years and its not the Tumeric out of India.

The plant in this country is called Goldenseal or Yellow Root.

Used to dye hides and clothes yellow, make paint, and taken for a medicine for cancer and other illnesses and as a daily spice and suppliment from beginning of time.

Gatherings roots main time just passed as its easier to find when blooms are on.

Thats interesting! I've been taking Ecchiachea w/ Goldenseal for years now, whenever I feel under the weather. Had no idea it was basically the same thing as the Turmeric ... good to know :D

Good info but, for the record Histiocytoma is not cancerous. Its a benign growth that usually shows up on young dogs and usually goes away by itself. Its unsightly though and the one I had with it I had it removed.
