poisoned bitch in heat

I have a bitch just under a year old. When I thought she would come in heat the first time she ate rat poison. We did not think she would make it. She has not had a heat yet. could she have went sterile?

just under a year( oct 1) she was 6 months when this happened

I've had several not have a heat cycle for the first time until 18 months old. The poison could have delayed her a little but, I bet she'll be fine.

Mine went in heat at 8 months, then never came in again until 18 months. Don't sweat it yet. She still has quite a bit of time yet.
