temp before whleping

I have been taking her temp for the last few days and it is all over the chart. Sometimes it is 102 and sometimes down to 100.

My question is, do they always drop to 98 or 99 or do they sometimes just get 100?

They will drop withing 24 hours of whelping, trust me! LOL Once is drops to 99 or below consistantly, she will whelp soon!

Update:

We had one puppy born on Monday morning. No signs of any trouble. Momma had everything cleaned up by the time we discovered the puppy. She was not very big to begin with and we had only figured one or two puppies were in there. Had it not been for her filling up with milk we would not have known that she was bred.

Momma and baby are doing good.
