Cut foot pad

While out running yesturday, my dog cut his foot pad pretty bad. What can be done to help this heal ?

There are other threads about this. Clean it well with disinfectant, use crazy glue to glue it shut. Keep it dry and clean and lick free for 10 days. You may need to boot or bandage. Vet wrap works well. No running 10 days. If it is too deep, may need stitches. Carolyn

A friend of mine told me about Pad Kote from Happy Jack. I used this for about a week. alolng with a shot of penicellin. the pad healed great. We're back on the bunny trail. Thanks for the help.

I USED DURALBAND ,IT IS LIKE CRAZY GLUE BUT IT IS STEARALIZED (HOSPITALS USE IT)
