Eating thier own stool

Post by CedarCliffKennels »

Have one female that eats her own stool. Then when she uses the bathroom, I notice it has some blood in it. I figure there is blood in it because of eating stool. She has been wormed with ivanmec and no mo's for tapeworms. Has anyone had this problem?

There are other threads on this topic. Try to look them up. There is osmething wrong in her diet if she is bleeding. The stool eating may be for comfort or to fill in the gaps. It is a heriditary survival mechanism to eat stool. Look at diet first. C arolyn
