Ate the straw!!! Help Quick
My female is in heat right now. She is 7 months. And yesterday i went out to look at her. And she threw up 3 lil piles of hay. I think she is eating the hay. I think she pooped since then but im not sure. Is there anything i can give her to make her poop to make sure she is not clogged up inside.
Any suggestions are welcome thanks.

Wrap the dogs mouth shut and make it lay down on it's stomach. Gently put your foot on it's back to hold it in place and place a toilet plunger over the brown spot under it's tail. While gently resting your foot on it's back to steady plunger vigerously for about 8 to 10 strokes. If nothing happens repeat a couple of times to clear the clog. ;~) LOL Sorry couldn't resist that but seriously as Oakhill and others have stated it is perfectly natural for dogs to eat grass, hay, straw, bones and a lot of other stuff with no side effects at all. I owned a Doberman that ate(swallowed whole) one of those fluorescent super balls thats about the size of a golf ball. I heard him whimpering one night only to see the super ball being expelled good as new ( both the dog and the ball). If the dog is eating and passing than that's all you can ask for. Eat and Sh*t and they're operating like a well oiled machine.
One of my beagles has managed to snarf bread off the counter twice in her 12 years. She sure looks funny with a whole loaf in there! But they pass it ok. If something is in the gut and a possibility of surgery is on the horizon, try the bread first.
My beagles eat anything they can get hold of when stomach upset. One even licks the floors like a crazy fiend and will chew the strings from the edge of the rug. Guess a sore stomach hurts and they whatever will make them throw up. Now I just get the hydrogen peroxide out and make them vomit in the bathroom on my time!
