Dirty dog

My branko male will not stop pooping and peeing inside his box. He is 10 months old and i let him stay in it till i feel bad, but this wont bother him , as soon as i change the straw or chips he just does it again. Please help or do i just own a nasty dog? My kennels are above ground, wooded slats for floor, wire sides, and wood box. He is also starting to eat at the box!

I've never had this problem, but have read about it enough that I can pass on the advice of others. They recommend that you put a false ceiling in the box/house. By virtue of limited space, the dog/bitch had difficulting peeping or pooping inside the box. Also consider that your dog may have never been in an above ground kennel and doesn't fell comfortable walking or "taking care of business" on the floor slats.

If at all possible, I'd put him in a ground kennel for a while. He may prefer to go on the ground and after a while, he may gain an appreciation for a clean box.
