I've got a five and a half year old bitch who is due on the 10th or 11th of sept. Well that's the 63rd day anyway. She has been producing milk now for two days. That's 11 or 12 days early. Is that normal, or do you think the pups are coming early or what?

I would say thats fine but im not sure. With my last litter I noticed it about 2 weeks prior to her welping. Good luck with the pups.

Some have milk let down early and yet others don't let down until a few days prior. Just depends on the bitch.
The best way to tell when whelping will occur is by the body temperature. Starting on about the 60th day, begin to take temps am and pm. When the temp drops below 99, whelping is usually with in 24 hours. You will also notice alot of pacing and restless behavior. They may not be interested in food as well just prior to the onset of whelping.
Good Luck!!!

She had her pups this morning, three days early. They all look healthy, seven males, no females.
