1st litter of pups

Post by boss hog »

I have a bitch that is getting ready to have a litter of pups. This will be my 1st litter I have ever raised & I am a little bit nervous.I bought her off a guy that lives in charleston,w.v. She has had 3-4 litters before & I guess with no problem, but this will be my first litter that I have ever raised myself.I would like to know what I should watch for or be aware of or anything in that sort of matter.Really any info on raising pups would help me out.Thanks.

This will give you a start. I switch over to pup chow three weeks before though. I had a more detailed one but they switched the link on me.

Here is you another great informational site that is pretty good as well. Gives you a lot of details and items you may or maynot need while whelping.

Click on each of the links and will give you pretty good information, it's not gospel but will help in a pinch. Remember every dog is different and all signs are not present in each dog so go with the given information and make the best of it.
