I have been using HappyJack tapewormer with limited success and seem to have tapes again in a couple of months.
I use Panacur Liquid and Ivomec currently to handle heartworm and other worms, whip, hook ect.....
I use frontline on my dogs and do not have a flea problem. My dogs do catch rabbits fairly frequently when running and I think this is where my tapeworm problem is coming from.
What med is best to deal with Tape worms under my situation?

I use Drontal plus twice a year. I like to give it in the early spring after rabbit season and six months later. If you have hunting dogs my vet suggested twice a year. For a dog that is a house dog I do once a year. Other than my hunting beagle. After I give them Drontal plus, 14 days later I worm with a Pyrentel Pamoate. (strongid). Should be worm free after that. Might try taking a fecal into the vets and make sure that is the only problem.

I had the exact same problem, tried happy jack, adams, and safe guard, none worked on the type of tape worms my dogs had. I finally got droncit from the vet, and no more tapes.
drontal is the way to go it not only kills tapes but all intestine worm,,,whips, round, hook and tape, but does nothing for heart worms,,,,,,it kinda expensive but for its cost and hitting them in the early spring and late fall its worth it,,,,,,it cost about 10 dollars a pill for 20#,,,,,,,,,,lonewolf
