Wormers?

Did anyone read the article on wormers in the American beagler 6/04 edition? My dog has whip worm & my vet said fendbendazole will take care of them. The article said 5cc,s 3 day administration. Did Mr Day mean 5cc,s three days in a row or 5 cc,s divided over three days ?
Any input would be greatly appreciated as panacure is much more to buy for a kennel ful of hounds. Thanks in advance. Dave
