allergies

Post by bartman357 » Sun Oct 18, 2015 7:01 pm

I have a young dog that I put in my running pen yesterday, I noticed that he was sneezing a quite a bit. After several hours of running, I put him back in his kennel. This morning when I went out to check on the dogs, I noticed that he was not coming out of his box, then I realized that he couldn't open his eyes! They seemed to be matted shut! Buy the end of today they were better. I have to assume that it's allergies!
Anyone else have this problem? Anything I can treat him with? Any ideas?

Thanks for your input

Bart , What's in ur pen ? I've had this happen about every time in run in the seressa fields . Eyes will be matted shut with-in a few hours even around the eyes will be raw even to the point of some blood. But these wernt pups that aren't started , young & older run'n dogs.

There is some lespadeza, but I'd have to say, more weeds than anything! Some of my other dogs have issues after running for 6or 8 hours! But he wasn't in there that long. Also I did notice him sneezing a lot!
