eye problem

Re: eye problem
What does the eye look like, enlarged or milky blue or what. If you described it above I missed it somehow. My FC scratched an eye in his above ground kennel last year and I thought he was going to lose it. Overnight it completly clouded over and he went straight to the vet and we were still almost too late. My vet put him on some real strong antibiotics to try and get it under control before the drain ducts behind the eyeball closed off. He said if the drain ducts clog the eye will fill and the pressure can't be relieved and the eye will be lost. Good Luck.

Re: eye problem
The tissue under the eye is all red and puffy. Nothing is sticking out of the eye yet, and they are not milky blue. However, the puffy tisue forces the eye ball up into the back of his head and to the left. I just ordered a tube of terramycin from my vet to start giving to them along with visine. If I remember, I'll keep this post updated on how they turn out.Gang wrote:What does the eye look like, enlarged or milky blue or what. If you described it above I missed it somehow.
