Why do you think it's infected? It could be ear mites or a yeast infection. Here is a good "recipe" for ear cleaner.
1 pint of water
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
Be careful when using peroxide in the ears. You don't want excess to get in the ear canal. When it "bubbles" it can cause excessive pressure in the ear and be painful.
This ear cleaner is effective in cleaning, deoterizing, and as an antiseptic.
If it is ear mites, clean the ear well and then put a couple of drops of ivermectin on the ear flap and work it into the crevases of the ear by rubbing it. This will clear them up in no time.
