I am dealing with it now.My hound is on antibotics for 30 days and cannot run her until all medicine is gone.Vet told me if you run them while on meds they are more ap to have a stroke so she has been keep up for almost 2 weeks. This is hard stuff to deal with. And i use frontline every month but the vet said the tick does'nt have to stay on the dog it just has to bite and fall off.I think i am going to the vacine once a year.

If he doesn't have any symptoms I wouldn't be too worried. Just keep an eye out if any symptoms occur. They do a snap test? Any dog ever exposed to lyme will test positive on it. It tests for antibodies. Most dogs exposed to lyme will test positive but that doesn't mean they need treatment. I'm pretty sure almost every dog I own will test positive. Lyme is very bad here.
