What to use on Cut up ears
What does everyone use to help heal cut up ears. We have several running areas that are full of black berry briars. They seam to be the hardest on the dogs ears in our area. Ears get so sore that they willnot let you touch them with out a fight. I have been trying to keep them cleaned up by using warm wet wrags and then pat dry and spray with cut heal. Looking for sugestions. Brock

Nu stock has been good for me. Mix with some baby oil and makes a nice lotion for them. It will also have residual effects and you really only need to put it on about every 2-3 days. Hope this helps.
Re: What to use on Cut up ears
We use neosporin 3 in 1 ointment you can get it at any drug store or grocery store, slather it on thick and will be as good as new in a couple days, I have one dog that gets his ears all scratched up running and he is a big baby, fusses the whole time. But in a day or two ears are healed up.
1 Other thing we will do Is IF we are going To a place we KNOW is hard on their ears (GA Briars LOl) or our favorite Briar patch even I will Slather up their Ears Real Good BEFORE we run also with the 3 in 1.
We also use the Nu-Stock Swear by this stuff for dew poison or if they get cut up pretty good....

Before we went to World Hunt I was running Billy at Black Gate several hours a week...
His tail was a bloody stub his ears also bad..I started putting N.F.Z.wound dressing before and after the run and all but healed him up....
