I have a question?

Post by AMANDA & RUSTY LYONS »

Has anyone ever had a dog with Demodex mange? If so what have you used for it? and is there a cure for it? if so what did you use? We have tried the fish oil pills and Ivomec, we are going to the vet monday morning for the Mitoban Dip, but I was just wondering how many of you have ever seen demodex mange, and if there is anything to cure it, and what was the outcome did the dog get better ? What was your experiences with demodex mange? Thanks in advance Amanda Lyons

Amanda this is the lesser of the two Evil manges...
i have seen it in a Number odf Dogs and got a pup awhile back that had a pretty good case of it here is What WE DID...
NU-Stock...http://www.nustock.com/
you can get it at most TSC stores or Southern States they do have a directory for who carries it in your area
I will Swear by this stuff!!!! We use it for ALL types of Skin ailments
The way we use it Differs a bit from Some though, the Nu-Stock is pretty thick right out of the tube or jar and hard to get to stick and actually Stay on the dog SO we thin it down With mineral oil or baby oil. till about the same consistency as creme rinse.. Put your Rubber gloves on unless you wanna keep the other 1/2 at bay for a few days LOL..
it is SULFUR Based as most of your mange treatments are The ol timers use to use yellow sulfur and burnt motor oil But i think this is better LOL
the other Cure is Ivermectin here is a good site that we use I cannot remember the actual dose for ivermec but i know it is high ask your vet for sure..

Try the NU-STOCK!!!!!!
From Field to Show and Show to Field the way it should be

I just treated a hound with two doses of vegtable oil. Cover the entire hound with it (except for the eyes) It worked and it's safe. I tried everything else and nothing worked but this.
