Dripping urine

Post by Rockdog »

Howdy all. I have noticed my beagle leaving small spots of urine where ever he lies down for a spell. They are about the size of a quarter or half dollar. He isn't licking or in any discomfort as far as I can tell, and is regular in his peeing in general. Should I make him an appointment with the vet? Thanks,Rockdog.

How old is he?
Have you noticed any blood?

Signs of blood could mean a serious issue from prostate to kidneys...
I have a male here that started out that way and began to bleed...had him fixed and doing better but cant breed or trial just hunt and love as he is our house beagle.

A vet appt. or consultation would hurt.

How old is he?

If he is a young dog maybe just not in full control of his bladder.

He is 10 months old. I haven't seen any blood as of yet. Just clear urine spots on his old bed sheet that he lays on when he comes in for a visit.
