ive got an older dog that his eyes have stuff running down them... there draining and the dry stuff looks green... he's not coughing or anything but it just looks like he might not feel the best.... i hunted him the past two weeks(one day a week) and he's acted fine but is there anything i can give him for the drainage or if it really might be a cold???
we've hunted some tall grass and weeds the past few weeks and i was afraid he might of got some seeds or dust in them and there agravating him.... possibly...

Yes, they can, one of mine, she just looked like she had allergies and her voice actually got raspy, she couldn't smell a rabbit if you strapped it to her nose, gave her benadryl for about 3 days and it cleared her up and haven't had a problem since, there is a post on here somewhere about how much to give them, i think some guys use childrens, but I found the post, says one capsule per 25 pounds, mine doesn't weigh that much but I gave her once capsule every morning with food for 3-4 days and she was fine.
