How much in one day

Picked up a new hound today. 3 1/2 months old. Gave it a 5 way and some ivomectin. Noticed the stool was bloody. Would you treat it for coccidia today also. Or is that to many drugs in one day?

Different drugs should not create a problem but I agree on not doing too much at once. I would wait one day unless there is a lot of blood. I doubt it is coccidia - loose stool and mucus is what I have seen with it. If the stool is firm and the blood is red, it is could be due to slight constipation OR hooks or whips. I would worm him first and,if the problems persists, a little Albon or Corid would not hurt.

Loose, , and bloody Mucus with a putrid smell..Is parvo the same symtoms ??

If he is not throwing up and acts fine other then the runny ulgies I would guess it is coccidia, but to be sure I would take it to the vet especially if he is a young hound for it won't take long for one to succumb to it. There is also Giardia

Shouldn't hurt at all to give something for coccidia today along with the other meds. The diarrhea can become serious. I would also give him some plain yogurt to help the gut.
