Tapeworms

I've had great luck with Equimax for the past year or so. I've never seen it fail to remove tape in the hounds I've used it on. An added feature is that it doesn't seem to bother the hound in any way. I've given it on Thurs. and won a hard driving hare trial 3 days later.

I use eqimax,remember it has Ivomac in it which is good for heart worm prevention.I don't know if it will hurt to give it Ivomac in 21 days or not? Ken

It's only 1.87% Ivomec. If you give Ivomec for heartworms and the worming coincides with (or is close to) that schedule, you can just skip the heartworm treatment for that month if you are concerned about over dose. I do not worry about it personally. While I do not routinely do so, I have given much higher and closer spaced doses for treatment of mange.

Like Run and Gun said, you can buy pills at Wal-Marts that have the same ingredients as Droncit. I believe there called Trade Winds tape wormer. They work fine!
