coughing

I have a 3 month old pu that has a nagging cough, it is not constant but he seems to cough all the time, he eats, drinks and plays and seems completely healthy ? :?:

How long has this gone on? When does he seem to cough the most? And has he been examined by a veterinarian? Doc S
