Dog is stressed.?

My dog is loosing alot of hair. I took him to the pet wash today. LOTS of hair. I asked the groomer there and she said it wasnt mange. I have never seen it. I had to empty the tub every 30 second. No bald spots. His kennel mate is my bitch that has been in the house for 2 1/2 weeks. he is loosing his voice from barking to much. There is probably not to much I can give or do is there? He sleeps in the basement often with my farm dog and that keeps him quiet but she is not going in the kennel with him.
Do they make doggie zanax....
