Sore Eyes

Hey Doc,
What eye drops would you recommend for hard running beagles. Just got back from the strip mines and my dogs were blind. Not really but I had to pry their eyes open to put some Tobramycian drops in them. I had this from when I had a scratch in my eye. Was assuming it would be ok for the dogs. But was curious if saline or something realitivly cheap could be used.

You can get an inexpensive eye rinse through most veterinarian's offices or through many of the mail order catalogs. Barring that, saline flush fro folks that wear contacts can also be used.
