need help about beagle illness

my dog barked all night when i came out to check on him he was dead no signs of illness or other health problems only thing found was a little bit of bleeding from penis just trying to figure out what could have happened?dog has never been breed or neutered dog was 6 years old

Have the vet do an autopsy if you want to know what happened. For your peace of mind. Carolyn
