Ok thanks.I will wait till next time..I didnt go thru every post on each contest.I just kinda browsed but there were a bunch of fine looking dogs.

J, mail some pics to me. I've got the same contest going on for the readers right now, since many couldn't participate online and wanted to show their hounds. I need a front, back and side view of the hound.

Actually, this goes for everyone. If you missed out on the website contest, mail some hard copy photos of your dog to me.

Chris, that would be a hoot - as long as the participants had a good sense of humor, lol. I guess they'd have to if they entered their dog in the Ugliest Beagle Contest. :shock:

How is this for Ugly?? Any of you show or field breeders know who this dog is??? Will give ya a hint. This dog was born in 1886 and died in 1899.

Looks like some Pearson Creek stuff I had when I was 10-12 years old or so, back in the early 70's, that went back to Wilcliffe Bannister. Am I close? I know it's not Carson, goes farther back than that, Pearson Creek Carson was actually a fairly well-conformed hound, more leg than the one in the pic.
