I remember reading something about including Blue and White Beagles into the contest???

My one blue female is feeling left out.....

Post her pic! We will run Blue/white/, Lilac/white or other true dilutes for a while. Those of you who own them probably know if they qualify for this category. I'm probably gonna have a "show-off" and post the winners from each category, then let you posters chose the overall winner, so we can show the "All Other Colors" we may have missed while I think of a good way to do this.

Vickie, nice built hound. Is that a male or female? Is it out of gun stock or show dogs? I'm just curious.I am going to post my blue as soon as I get a current picture taken

Blue is a female. She is gundog stock. She is pretty much Larsen bred with some Indian Hills Majer thrown in. I have two six month pups right now out of her by FC Larsen's Jackson, a male and a female. They are nice pups. I was going to post them in the blanket back tri's but didn't get around to getting pictures.

What makes them blue. Some of these posted look tri to me but I am new to it all so I ask a lot of questions. Thanks

I am asking because I have one that looks tri to me but she has a really light tan colored head and greenish eyes. Thanks again

It is sometimes hard to photograph the real color of the blue hound unless you have a black one next to it. I'm attaching a photo of Blue with a normal tri color pup next to her. It is a dilute gene and they do usually have a very light tan head, etc., and my Blue has light hazel colored eyes.

Thanks for the response Vickie. I am pretty sure then that mine is just tri colored with a really light tan head and hazel/green eyes.

Shadow is well built 12 inch female. She is a rare blue tan and white.
She is a promising prospect with alot of hunt and speed to go with it.
