We went to Neelyville yesterday when we got off work to pick up a couple of pups that have been down there during all this flooding. WOW - there is still water standing everywhere - its still over the road in many areas. Just from the road you could see so many homes still standing under water, people still trying to salvage what they can from their homes - very difficult to see. In a couple of spots we crossed the highway in 2 feet of water and as many of you have seen the highway is built up and higher than the fields and homes. So much water and so much more held back in Clearwater Lake & Wappapello Lake (google this image water went over the dam at T highway - from what I understand 1st time in history) that is being let out heading that way. Just a very moving and difficult thing to see - so much loss. To make it all worse, we got home about midnight and we were not home long when the storm hit....and its still raining. And what we get they usually get and they DO NOT need any more water. Keep praying for them all.

Well for once I am at a loss for words..almost...we are completely blown away by the love and generousity you all are showing us. First all a special thanks to all who got this going...the Wells, Crabby, Blair, anyone else who had a part in it..thank you from the bottom of my heart.
We sorta feel like we have been living in the twilight zone this past week or so and its raining again....I showed my mom the board the first night and she stood with tears streaming down her checks and said " I always said them beaglin people were some of the best there was".
She doesnt know alot of the names so I got the magazine and showed her who some of you all were, then she knew.
She would say oh yes, he liked extra gravy or that one always wanted some chicken soup, and that one always told me I was the best cook around. She wanted me to tell you all how much this means to her. I can honestly say right now we are all a emotional mess, the first night Laura called me and told me what was going on all I could do is cry. You guys have truely stepped up as our other family. When the flooding was still going on bad, our cell phones was ringing off the hook. Calls from Ky, Tn, Virginia, Ark. and Mo. too many to remember, everyone wanting to know what they could do and if we needed them all we had to is call...you cant compare to that.
I can assure you that every dime you are bidding will be used to get her another home to live in, we cant restore the one she had for 48 years but as someone told me the water cant wash away the memories....
Thank you again,
We love you guys.
