Re: Uniary Trac Infection
I had this problem once with a mutt my wife brought home. The vet gave her estrogen pills but she had to get blood tests every few weeks which was a pain in the rear. Ended up taking her off the pills and giving her a cup of cranberry juice every day. The infection cleared up and she never had anoth...

Website looks good. Those pups out of Ruger and Lady sure turned out pretty and red. Can't wait to see how they tick up.

Redneck Romance
Cletus is passing by Billy Bob's hay barn one day when, through a gap in the door, he sees Billy Bob doing a slow and sensual striptease in front of an old green John Deere tractor. Buttocks clenched, he performs a slow pirouette, and gently slides off first the right strap of his overalls, followed...

So sorry for your loss. It's the good ones that go too soon and you can never replace them.

Re: Latest Parvo 2c strain blog link
Someone told my wife that 1cc of Tamiflu every couple hours will beat parvo in a day or two. Not sure if it's true or not.

parvo treatment?
Has anyone heard of using Tamiflu to treat parvo? My wife read it somewhere that 1 cc of tamiflu every few hours would knock parvo on its rear. I was wondering if it works. Never had parvo and I do everything I can to prevent it, but sure would be nice if you could be prepared.

Value Pack dog food
Anyone feed it? Pros or cons? I'm feeding Hi Standard right now and have no complaints except price. I can get Value Pack for almost half the price but not sure if its worth it.

Re: getting close.
This season is bittersweet for me. I've got some great young dogs that I'm excited to get in the field and some older dogs I plan on hitting trials with so the entire season is going to be busy but fun. On the other hand, we lost our best two dogs this past year and things won't be the same without ...

Re: Red Dogs
Just picked me up two new Redman bred red dogs. The big male is out of Kenny Vanhoose's Joker dog. The little female is out Jessie Scrogham's Major/Ruby cross.

Re: fleas that are imune to chemicals
Watch out for diamataceous earth you don't want you or your dogs to breath it in, not good for lungs. Dogs could breath it in if sniffing around the yard. We use this in grain feeds to keep bugs out. I also have used it around ant hills. Works great just don't breath in the dust. You can get food g...

Re: fleas that are imune to chemicals
Use Termidor and it seems to do the trick for fleas and ticks. For our house dogs, we use Advantix II. It seems to work pretty well for 2.5-3 weeks. Then you have a week of fleas before you can out it on them again. Someone told me to use diamataceous earth to kill fleas in the yard. Too expensive f...

Hope everyone stays safe in the storms coming through. We lost half a tree. Fell right between the kennels.
