thanks for the input guys. like i said i have never ran dogs in the summer and didn't really know what i should EXPECT from her. sound like MORE for sure

i guess my real question is does this stuff interfere with the dogs ability to stay on the scent? flowers, green grass, weeds, bugs, i would assume all give off smells and combine that with being super concentrated thick just wondering if it has any bearing? i am gonna try to get them out to another...

so the heavy grass and thick greenery has no or shouldn't have no bearing at all? not trying to be a smartaleck just seriously asking. its so thick in the fields where my dogs hunt right now that they have to jump over it like a deer to move with any speed.
