Thanks for the pictures of Sam. Good looking dog and my favorite color and those are some good looking pups out of him also. Think I will look into breeding to him in the near future.

Can anyone post any pictures of him?

Sorry to hear about your loss. I lost one Monday while hunting. A stick got between her collar and neck and choked her to death while she was hunting in a dozer pile.

Thanks J Riser, I love the Reggie stuff, just hadn't heard about Sam. I like to line breed so I may look into some of his offspring to line breed with my Reggie female or maybe even look into breeding to him in the future.

I haven't heard much about him. How is he bred and where is he located?

Thanks fellows for your sympathy. Like I said she was not a trial dog but the one you always wanted with you when you were meat hunting. I will miss her.

Just have to vent a little. My 76 year old uncle called me yesterday and told me to come out because he found a place for us to hunt so we loaded up 5 dogs and headed out. We had some good running and jumped 13 rabbits and killed 8. Now the bad part. After about 2 1/2 hours of hunting I missed my ol...

Don't know about keeping yotes away but it helps with locating them

That is why I keep records, names and phone numbers of who I sell my pups to, in case something like this happens. I had it happen to me one time and keeping records really helps. I used not keep records until about 6--7 years ago.

Even though you said it is used less, the first thing I would do is change the battery with one of the other collars and if that didn't work then I would contact tri-tronics. I have had batteries go bad when I thought they shouldn't be bad.

I like a dog with speed also but a medium+ speed dog with good control will probably run more rabbit in a race than a fast speed dog with less control...imho
