The puppy chow is good feed,has anyone else had trouble with loose stools with it?They did good on it they were just a mess to clean up after.I started feeding the same thing I feed the grown dogs and putting all breed powered milk on it or calf powder milk.It will stick to the kibble,kinda look li...

Farmerwells I haven't fed the puppy food but when I was able to get Black Gold around my area I fed the black bag and would also feed it to my pups with good results. Wish I could still get the Black Gold.

i have seen 5yr old field champ dog that you would think never run off game take off on off game. :hammer: I think dogs will be dogs and in the right situation anything is possible. I have made 4 crosses of half brother to half sister and about 80-85% of the dogs made nice dogs. I have another half brother to half sister cross planned for the near future.

I used to know an older fellow (dead now) that said he saved some tobacco leaves every year when he stripped his tobacco to worm his dogs with but I didn't put much into it so there may have been something to it.

Southern States has a 24/20, I believe it is called Complete. I don't use it but a friend of mine uses it and his dogs look good and seem to have a lot of energy.

I have been hunting over dogs for 51 years and have only had 2 that I would call a true jump dog. I have had many that hunted real good and jumped a lot of rabbits but they were not what I called a true jump dog.

I am mostly a gun hunter so I really don't put an age on them but after putting the first hunting season on them I know by then if I want to keep them in my pack or not and that is not fool proof because I have sold some dogs after their first hunting season only to be beat by them the next season. ...

I second what BCBeagles said. Be careful John, I have lost a grown dog and two young dogs in the past to them and my buddy just lost a young male that we believe coyotes got.
