Re: Purina Puppy CHOW
I noticed my hounds looked a bit thinner than normal this winter. I feed them Purina Dog Chow from Sam's Club. I decided to switch to the green bag Members Mark brand. It had similar properties as the Purina and was even a few bucks cheaper and 55 pound bag verses a 50 pound bag of Dog Chow. I alrea...

Re: Hurry!!!!!!! Limited Time Offer
Normally when people posts things like this will go to auction or no longer be for sale after this day or that are just trying to speed up the process of someone buying item for sale. Not judging if it is right or wrong but it seems a little desperate to me in most instances. btw, lets keep Christ o...

Re: Junie Pup Pictures
I am wanting to see some of the other pups out of Junie. If you have a pup post their picture and tell us a little about them. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm105/stavemillbeagles/DSCI0126-1.jpg Jew-Dee is my girl and she is always eager to please and shows a lot of brains, very hard hunting a...

You're going to love it! I have the Encore and the G2 and like them both.
I've made some incredible kills with my Encore at extended ranges on running rabbits.
Keep the gun moving and lead the rabbit is the key.

Re: Importance of Good Bite??
What is most important to me is how the dog is built and how well it runs a rabbit (brains/desire), not how perfect its teeth.
I am fortunate that Belle has a perfect bite, but if she didn't she'd still be in my kennel. btw, I hate crooked legs.

Re: Good hunt in the snow
Thanks everyone. I think I am going to doc Stripers tail about four inches. As you can see, it is raw and I don't like him losing blood. My vet said he would do it for $125.00 so I will probably go that route.

Good hunt in the snow
Yesterday had a great 2-3 hour hunt on my buddies 100 acre farm. Really pleased with Pike Ridge Striper. The dog has earned a permanent home here on the ridge. :check: Striper http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d94/strata58/Striper2011.jpg Belle http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d94/strata58/Belle01_...
