I used it several years ago and it worked great. Since I went to concrete pens I don't have to dip the dogs any more. I have also used it to wash out the pen but I think bleach does just as good and is cheaper as a kennel wash.

I've fed Pride for years also. I fed the white bag but have switched to the brown bag. Both seem to be good feeds but I find less manure with the brown bag than the white!

I had a dog bit a few years ago. She was bit up under the front leg, sort of like in the armpit. It happened on Labor Day and the vet was closed. I spoke to an old friend of mine who had hunted hounds for years and he told me to put powdered alum on the bite (dry) and wrap in a bandage and give her ...

To help with the itching and getting to sleep take 2 benadryl tablets before you go to bed. Benadryl will stop the itching and will also make you drowsy and you'll sleep all night

Years ago I would buy flea soap in bar form and when I showered at night I would use the flea soap to wash with. It seemed to work real well to get rid of chiggers. I haven't been able to find flea soap in bar form for years. I haven't tried any of the flea shampoos that are on the market but it may...

You can use any insect repellant that has over 25% DEET in it to keep ticks from getting on you. Also, you can use a product called Permonone or something like that on your clothes (DON'T PUT ON SKIN). Permonone is made especially to keep ticks off of you. As for the dogs soem of the once a month fl...

Sevin Dust or Carbyl has been marketed for years for control of fleas on dogs and for mites on poultry. In fact if you look at some of those small cans of flea powder for dogs in local department stores you may find out that they contain 5% carbyl (sevin). Sevin comes generally in 2 different streng...

Not sure but you could probably use a skill saw with a either a metal cutting blade or a blade made for cutting roofing tin. I had some luck cutting roofing tin with an old blade made for cutting paneling

Leyland cypress can grow fairly tall. I have one in my yard that is over 30 ft. tall. As said above evergreens would provide a good wind break in winter but would reduce air movement in the hot summertime!
