I have had mine yip and follow a bird. I can tell its not a rabbit just by their sound and how they act. If they flush a bird I just call it a bonus.

I go up every year for a week. We only shoot a couple so that one of the last days there we can have hare for supper. I have yet to see the need to take pictures of tailgates full of rabbits, no matter where I am hunting.

I have found the best way to spend Christmas morning. I came to NY for the holiday so my dad and I got up loaded up the dogs and went out. We had a couple diecent runs and got one.

Most of the time when I go rabbit hunting I just use a .22 pistol. I get to shoot a bunch and have fun without ending the chase.

A 512 in 28ga is going to be my Christmas present to myself.
