This question was asked of me, and I do not have a clue as to how to answer it. I do not know if it is even a valid question, as it deals with two diffent registries, or organizations, If u can provide any feedback please enlighten me. "If a dog is registered in NKC for 3generations, can the dog the...

Re: lost dog
I honestly dont think it was the shock collar, she has been running with a shock collar on for 10-12months, and this wasnt her 1st trash run, or 1st time being shocked. just my opinion, just trying to make sense out of the behaviour, so we dont have to experience the same nonsense again. What was re...

Re: lost dog

Re: weight issue
Too all who have responded, a sincere thanks. I will start with the worming, and follow up with a vet appointment. He is a tiny hound, and never tore into his feed, and he hasnt changed his ways yet. He seems to be a little more energetic today, after 2days of rest, will run tomorrow, and see what t...

Re: weight issue
Thanks for the input, I honestly dont think worms r the issue, and as run down as he is, I think the medication might do more harm than good, but I will have him checked for anemia, and overall condition. I have never fed raw chicken wings b4, I was under the impression the chicken bones could shatt...

I have a very petite (under 13") male, who could never be considered overweight, and now that the gun season has started, has lost what little bit of body fat he had, and now looks emaciated. I am currently feeding Black Gold (black bag) and my dog looks terrible. I can not run today, as he just nee...

Re: Wanted winchester model 12
there is one listed on gunbroker now, for 900 dollars, its biggest detriment is a cutts compensator, on the end of the barrell. the rabbits wont care!!! if that dosent suit, try Shumans gun shop in Newvile Pa. they have a very wide, and expensive selection of early winchester products. I believe the...

Re: Beagles on Birds?
if u train them to run birds, especially chinese chickens, u better have track shoes, and the dog better be real fast! A pheasent is a natural born runner, rather than a flusher. After the first few hours of the opening day, all the birds that flushed are dead or wounded. Only the runners survived, ...

Re: Whistle?
I would have to agree, a whistle saves ur voice, and is highly effective on windy days, and when the hound just dosent feel like responding to the spoken word.
