Re: Garmin Alpha Locking up
My alpha has been shutting down about every other trip out. It is usually if I delete the tracks or waypoints. It will turn back on and work just fine. I have called them twice talking to two different people. They keep saying they have never heard that. No one else has called in with problems of it...

Re: Red Mange
Wardog and Patch are right on. This is a question of will this better the breed. I can say not in respect to the future health of your generations. Just think if you sold a litter and they all had it. I would guess a few people would not be happy.

Re: Dogs for sale
Got a female from Scott Umthum (BigRiver S). Everything he said was true, took her to the world championships the first year I had her. He runs a tight ship in his pack and has taught me a lot. I still have a lot to learn but It is nice to get out the good stories.

Re: Rossi Matched Pair Pistols
The sights are a little different. It is rifle sights using fiberoptics. It takes a little shooting to be able to pull it up and be centered as they are higher than usual. Normally I shoot a H&R single 410. It makes me choose my shots a little more carefully. I enjoy the added challenge. A few more ...

Re: Rossi Matched Pair Pistols
3 inches of snow and 38 degrees that is a perfect day for running. Rossi performed great. The sights are not to bad after you get used to them. Very fun gun. Re: Warning
Had the same issue on public land. The dog was wearing a dc40. I believe that was the only reason she survived. The collar was protecting her from the snare tightening up any more. I heard her yelp and had seen no movement on the Garmin. I guess the garmin payed for its self that day. Sorry for your...

Re: Shuuting Off Scent
I have to say this is a great topic of discussion and so divided on the results. Could someone explain how a hound is able to track the rabbit in the correct direction? This is surely common knowledge I am a little slow. Also if you could add why a hound backtracks.
Thank you,
Dan
