Bull, What part of Maine. We are trying to plan a trip for the spring next fall. I have been to North west maine one time before but not hunting hare. we did however see lots of hair while we were out hunting.

At our local trial yesterday while I was judging the champ finals I had a hawk take a rabbit in the middle of the chase. Rabbit was pushed out of a clear cut into open hardwoods. Yea we go to the high country and chase them but we do not have the numbers that most places farther north have. You may go all day and not get one jumped some times around here. We are located right at the southern most end of thier range. Sure wish we had more here close by. Brock

We have the hose rigged to the facut on the front of the house and the long hose is conected to splitters and short pieces of hose that go to each run, or section of kennel. I think our two could be littermates. Our male has a longer nose and longer legs. Female is aobut the same size. How about those kids with the pups at the fair? Beagles just about took over the pet show. Ella drags ours around paps yard every time we are over there. Got to love it. Brock
