My dog didn't do to well on Canidae either, but I know it's a great food and one of the less expensive feeds of the "premium" brands.

His problem was that foods with too many ingredients made him itchy, and gassy. He never stopped itching and stunk up the whole place back then! lol

I use California Natural, Chicken Meal & Rice. Only because my dog Jake has allergies and he had to have something with less ingredients in it. Otherwise he's constantly itchy, and really gassy! I feel good with it and he loves it. Cost 42$ a month to feed 2 dogs, can't be that bad?

My female dog always eats grass. Tall Grass, I think she just likes the taste or something, or used to eating it before I got her.

If my male eats it, he's got a tummy ache, and throwing up will follow.
